Hello everyone and welcome to my web site and blog.  I am Jennie Dillon, a passionate watercolorist who loves the outdoors, my family, volunteering, reading, and above all, painting  what I see and experience.

In the future this blog will have pictures and tidbits, but right now I am just starting out and and wanted to shout out "HI" and hope you come back.

Here is my most recent painting which I call Poseidon Unplugged.  I am a Pisces and so it is most appropriate.  It is done in the style of Giuseppe Archimboldo, a Renaissance painter, who went against the trend of religious paintings.  His subjects were wealthy patrons who greatly enjoyed his humorous and not so humorous portraits done with incongruent objects such as flowers, animals, household objects, etc.

I hope you enjoy mine.
